Our impact

We look beyond what gets collected.

Our work meets people where they are, then makes space for where they want to go. Here is how we understand whether it is working.

What changes for people

People are the point.

We’re interested in what changes for people: safer work, stronger skills, more meaningful income and communities with the power to shape their own environment. Our impact framework follows the journey, not just the output.

The four pathways on our Programs page describe who that journey is for; this page describes how we learn whether it is working.

Learning and accountability

Measure what matters. Learn as we go.

Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) help us ask better questions—not just count activity. We want to understand whether people gain useful skills, whether work becomes safer and more dignified, and whether communities have more say in what comes next.

We are building an approach that listens to participants and partners, tracks meaningful outcomes, and adapts when the evidence tells us to. We will share verified results as they become available.
